About

Born and raised in rural Southeast Colorado, my roots run deep in the agricultural industry. Now located in Pritchett, Colorado, my husband and I manage our commercial Sim-Angus cattle ranch together.

Growing up showing sheep, cattle and pigs, and now raising cattle myself, gives me producer insight and allows me to connect with local ranchers and farmers out of a place of shared experience. 

 

Participating in livestock judging from a young age led me to Casper College to compete on the livestock judging team, and then to Texas A&M University, where I graduated with a degree in Ag Communications and Journalism in May 2025. ​

I plan to continue to judge livestock shows whenever I can, as well as write for publications on a freelance basis.
